Overview

Ohio’s Steelhead Alley consists of seven Lake Erie tributaries stocked with approximately 450,000 Little Manistee River strain steelhead annually. The Rocky River through Cleveland Metroparks is considered the most accessible steelhead fishery in America. Other top rivers include the Chagrin, Grand, Conneaut Creek, Vermilion, Ashtabula, and Cuyahoga (added 2024). Fish return at 23 inches / 4-5 lbs after two years in Lake Erie.
